Bluff Construction Report

Sunday’s rain kept me indoors, but I was able to cruise the neighborhood yesterday to photograph the progress I’d noted earlier on a tour by car.

In a dramatic leap forward, board and batten siding has been applied and window framing completed on a portion of the house, and the door to the upstairs porch has been installed.

In this photo taken November 16, before the battens were added, the basic siding can be seen. From a scrap left in the driveway, I took it to be a Hardie product, perhaps HardiePanel.

Another view from yesterday shows that roofing is almost complete.

Pace my husband, I don’t think there is any plan to move this house! The first photo, taken November 16, gives notice of intention, with carry-through evidenced in the second photo, taken yesterday.

No change.

The most noticeable exterior change is the roof shingles applied last week.
